Firstly you will need to register by contacting our operator on 020 8398 8600 (weekdays 9-12 noon). After you have given us details of your first requested drive, the operator will find you a driver and ring you back with their name. There are no formal charges but we do ask clients to put a contribution into our collection boxes to cover our running costs.

VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED

Can you spare one weekday morning a month on a date to suit you, to work from home, answering the phone to help the less mobile members of our community get to important appointments? Telephone operators take calls from clients between 9 a.m. and 12 noon and use WhatsApp to find suitable volunteer drivers. Training will be provided.

NeighbourCare is a local, long-established registered charity run entirely by volunteer drivers and telephone operators and endorsed by Elmbridge Borough Council. We provide help for the less mobile in the communities of Thames Ditton, Long Ditton, Weston Green and Hinchley Wood.

Our drivers use their own cars to provide a door-to-door service to GP and dental surgeries, hospitals, hairdressers etc.
